The following products are commonly used in the maintenance of wind turbines

1. Winches:

Possible products: BETA SL, BETA EL, RPE

Use:

• Lifting movement for lifting spare parts or replacement parts in installation and maintenance. Ideal for higher lifting heights.

2. Electric chain hoists:

Possible products: CPV, CPE, (special version: ST-chain hoist)

Use:

• Lifting movement for lifting spare parts or replacement parts in installation and maintenance. Ideal for smaller lifting heights.

3. Rotary unions:

Possible products: 1600 Series

Use:

• Hydraulic power transmission: Wind turbines often have hydraulic systems for rotor blade adjustment, yaw axis control and braking. These systems require the transfer of hydraulic fluid from stationary pipes to rotating components. A rotary union allows the hydraulic fluid to be transferred without interruption while the wind turbine is rotating.

4. Screw jacks:

Possible products: Mercury, SHE

Use:

• For the (storm-proof) opening and closing of the service flap of wind turbines
• Rotor blade adjustment: Spindle jacks can be used to adjust the angular position of the rotor blades of a wind turbine.
