The IRM-IOL-TC2 sends driving commands to the shuttle.

The AB cam reduces the velocity of the shuttle.

The A-cam brings the shuttle to a halt.

Features & Benefits

IRM-IOL-TC2 modules are optoelectronic communication units installed along the montrac® track.
Enable infrared communication with the shuttle.
Can be controlled via IO-Link (through an IO-Link master connected to a PLC) or via two digital I/Os in SIO mode.
Can operate completely autonomously depending on the application (e.g., curve monitoring).
Cams (A, B, or AB) are typically mounted on Tracs to influence shuttle behavior, such as adjusting speed.
Each time a shuttle passes a cam, its behavior changes based on the cam type.
Electrically switchable cams allow control functions to be activated or deactivated as needed..
