Located in South Africa, Yale Lifting solutions specializes in material handling needs of the mining industry and was well-suited to provide expertise for this application.
In a region where the thermometer sometimes doesn't rise above 0°C and is usually snow-covered, the JSC Yamal LNG Consortium, in cooperation with the French EPC contractor Technip, built three LNG trains for liquefying natural gas. Six cold-climate STAHL CraneSystems brand cranes were developed with 100 tons of lifting capacity to be used for installation and maintenance of Yamal LNG's gas compressors.
