Magnetek® VHF Radio Remote Controls Moving to Limited Phase

LIFE CYCLE STATUS UPDATE:

When the ZLTX launched in 2025, we announced the move of the MLTX, SLTX, and 18K to the Classic Phase. This will continue to be the case except for frequencies that fall within the VHF band of 72–76 MHz, which will move to the Limited Phase effective July 30, 2026.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY IN LIMITED PHASE:

The MLTX transmitters, SLTX transmitters, 18K receivers, and complete systems operating in the 72–76 MHz (VHF) frequency band will remain available in the Limited Phase while supplies last. New orders requesting this frequency band will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are strongly discouraged.

SERVICE AVAILABILITY IN LIMITED PHASE:

•    Technical Support: Available 
•    Repairs: Available 
•    Spare Parts: Available while supplies last

RECOMMENDED ACTIONS:

For MLTX, SLTX, and 18K products operating in the VHF frequency band, it is recommended that customers begin planning system upgrades.
For new engineered projects, we strongly encourage modernizing current systems and upgrading to:

•    XLTX
•    MLTX2

For simple systems requiring bellybox control, we recommend migrating to:

•    ZLTX
