Single-stage and two-stage
Power packs are easy to operate as they are fully assembled and easy to control.
The use of power packs is always recommended when jobs have to be done in a time-saving and efficient way, when repeating jobs have to be finished off, quick cylinder cycles have to be achieved or if large oil volumes in connection with high-tonnage cylinders have to be transmitted.

Features & Benefits

Two-stage flow rate
The hydraulic power units PY ... are equipped with two-stage pumps, i.e. a low-pressure stage quickly fills the hydraulic cylinder until the pressure reaches 80 bar. The high-pressure stage then switches on automatically (up to 700 bar), while the low-pressure stage is unloaded to the tank. This cost-effective solution prevents excessive heating, saves energy, and keeps the units compact.

Single-stage flow rate PYE
The hydraulic power units PYE are equipped with single-stage pumps.
These units deliver the same flow (high-pressure stage) from 0 to 700 bar.

Control/Operation
The piston movement of the connected hydraulic cylinder is controlled by the directional control valve.

Do you have a double-acting or single-acting hydraulic cylinder?
The directional valve must match the operating type of the hydraulic cylinder. Depending on the function, the units are equipped with:

  • 3/3 directional valve for single-acting cylinders, connection with one hydraulic hose
  • 4/3 directional valve for double-acting cylinders, connection with two hydraulic hoses

These valves are available as manual or solenoid valves.
Manual valves are operated by a hand lever and represent the more economical option.

Manual valves typically have the following positions:

  • Extend
  • Hold
  • Retract

Solenoid valves
Solenoid valves allow remote control via cable, providing greater flexibility.

  • Controlled via two push buttons (extend / retract)
  • Switches to “pressureless circulation” when released
  • Operating pressure is maintained without loss
  • Control voltage: 24 V
  • Fast and precise (millimeter-accurate) operation

Pressureless circulation
In the hold position, all valves switch to “pressureless circulation,” meaning the oil flows back to the tank.

Special solenoid valves
Some applications require special valve configurations, implemented according to specific requirements.

Pressure monitoring units
With special control, units can monitor and automatically restore operating pressure.

Chassis

Chassis options are available for all hydraulic units:

  • Two swivel casters
  • Two fixed wheels

Oil cooler
Continuous operation may generate heat. If oil temperature exceeds 60 °C, an oil cooler should be used.

Hydraulic oil
All units are ready for operation and filled with ISO VG 32 hydraulic oil.
