Camlok® CY Hinged Vertical Plate Clamps

• The hinged hook ring ensures adequate clamping force in every position.
• In addition to transporting plates, this clamp is suitable for turning steel structures and welded constructions.
• The hinged hook ring has the added advantage of providing enough clamping force to hold a plate safely. Even when transporting large-sized plates with the 2-legged lifting system slipping of the load and damage to the clamp is avoided.
• The main benefit of the CY hinged plate clamps is that longer plates can be lifted or handled, using two clamps on a two legged chain sling, thus eliminating the need for a spreader beam.
• Can be used to lift a plate from the horizontal to vertical position and vice versa
• Sufficient clamping of the load is achieved by the special shape of the hook ring
• Fitted with a cam-operated closing mechanism that can be replaced with a chain pull open/close mechanism
• Because of the swiveling hook ring, clamps can be fitted to a steel plate in any position
• These plate clamps are service-friendly, making it easy to exchange parts, which are readily available. Clamp repairs must be done by a trained person.
