More reach for your cobots. More possibilities for your production.
The PHOENIX Robotics Lifting Column extends your cobot’s range of motion – for greater efficiency, higher flexibility, and new fields of application.

Why we reimagined vertical movement
Cobots have become indispensable in modern production lines – they are flexible, safe, and cost-effective. But when it comes to reach and vertical motion, many applications reach their limits. Large cobots are expensive, and mechanical modifications are complex.
That’s why we developed the PHOENIX Robotics Lifting Column – a smart upgrade for cobots that combines performance, integration, and safety.

Easy integration. Safe operation. Increased productivity.
- Two versions available: Choose the right solution for your system – either 70 kg or 130 kg maximum load capacity.
- Plug-and-play integration: Compatible with all major cobot systems (e.g., UR, FANUC, ABB).
- Maximum stability & safety: Exceptional stability (deflection under lateral load less than 2 mm) ensures smoother robot movements, more precise positioning, and safer operation even under maximum load.
- Scalable: From simple pick-and-place tasks to multi-layer palletizing.
- Space- & cost-saving: A cost-effective alternative to larger cobots or mechanical modifications.
- Future-proof: Ideal for modular cobot cells and flexible manufacturing.

The PHOENIX Cobot in use
Cobots lifting
The customer was looking for a solution to make material flow in assembly more efficient. The challenge was to transport components automatically from one workstation to the next without operator intervention.
An operator places a component and triggers a signal at the push of a button. The cobot moves into the correct position on a linear axis, while the PHOENIX Robotics Lifting Column provides vertical movement. A 3D camera system detects the workpiece characteristics and adjusts the gripper accordingly. After picking up the part, the cobot transports it to the next station. If the recognized object does not match the expected part, an integrated pattern recognition system identifies this and adjusts the process accordingly.
