Whether medical technology, semiconductor production or e-mobility - montrac® adapts seamlessly to your processes. The intelligent shuttle technology not only automates your intralogistics efficiently, but also uses every journey for productive added value with its integrated power supply.
Application: Production logistics, assembly and testing processes
Challenge:
In modern vehicle production, the demands on efficiency, flexibility, and precision are increasing. Many manufacturers struggle with static isolated solutions, inflexible interlinking, and bottlenecks in material flow. The goal was to make intralogistics modular, scalable, and efficient—with a focus on productivity, process reliability, and cost reduction.
Solution with montrac®:
The intelligent montrac® shuttle system enables a continuous, smooth material flow – perfect for one-piece flow concepts and highly automated production.
Thanks to its modular design, new stations or process steps can be integrated at any time without disrupting ongoing operations.
Customer benefits:
Application: Cleanroom transport, assembly of electric motors and displays
Challenge:
Precision, cleanliness, and energy efficiency are key in electronics manufacturing—and space is limited. Conventional conveyor systems are often too loud, too inflexible, or generate too many particles, especially in cleanroom applications or sensitive processes such as display assembly and noise testing.
Solution with montrac®:
The modular montrac® rail and shuttle system ensures low-particle, shock-free transport in clean rooms (ISO class 5–7). Thanks to the integrated power supply, products can be operated or tested throughout the entire transport process – for example, during end-of-line testing of electric motors or displays. The compact design enables automated processes even in the most confined spaces.
Customer benefits:
Application: Cleanroom production of infusion bags, insulin pens, and dialysis filters
Challenge:
Precision, purity, and process reliability are key in pharmaceutical and medical technology. Different production lines – from liquid filling to the sensitive assembly of medical technology components – required a highly flexible, cleanroom-compatible transport system that could be adapted to different layouts and process requirements.
Solution with montrac®:
The modular montrac® rail system ensures shock-free, low-particle transport and enables maximum layout flexibility – even in confined spaces and with frequent process changes. Precise positioning, high availability, and a maintenance-friendly design ensure that the entire material flow is stable and reproducible.
Customer benefits:
Application: Automation of material supply
Challenge:
Long walking distances and manual material transport impaired efficiency and flexibility in assembly. At the same time, space in production was limited and multi-story layouts had to be connected.
Solution:
The modular montrac® system handles material supply fully automatically. Shuttles with belt conveyors deliver KLTs directly from the high-bay warehouse to the workstations – saving space, meeting demand, and providing reliability.
Customer benefits:
A metal processor with a focus on electric motor components was looking for a flexible transport solution for its new plastic injection molding production.
The challenge: limited space and high cycle times.
With montrac®, an automated connection was created between the packaging line and the high-bay warehouse. Eight article variants are now packaged flexibly, efficiently and reliably - controlled via the company's own PPS system.
The Result:
Short distances, high process reliability and maximum flexibility for the production of the automotive future.
