PHOENIX Telescopic lifting column

Features & Benefits

PHOENIX lifting columns move forces of 0.5 t to 2.5 t.

This economical system combines screw jack and guiding in one. The possibility to take up eccentric forces as well, is the characteristic of the PHOENIX lifting column.

The compact design facilitates an extensive possible field of application.

PHOENIX lifting columns are used multi-purposely in the mechanical engineering, the aerospace as well as the pharmaceutical industry.

Features and processing

• Design according to your customer needs (lift, head plate, driving motor, IP protection class IP54 or 55 - other protection classes on request …)
• Eccentric loads (outreach) permitted
• Guiding and screw jack in one, thus external guides can be omitted
• Sectional tubes made of  anodised aluminium
• Vertical and horizontal application possible
• Pressure and tensile load permitted

Pfaff-silberblau Hubsäule mit ABB Robotics

We are thrilled to announce that we recently participated at the ABB Robotics Ecosystem Program Workshop. Our team successfully delivered a first lifting column prototype that promises to create intelligent motion solutions for the Robotics market.
Stay tuned for the next steps! We’re just getting started, and there’s so much more to come. Whether you’re a cobot manufacturer, a system integrator or a curious learner intrigued by the future, this is something you should not miss.

CAD & go

Our CAD application allows you to access 2D / 3D CAD data in various formats. Alternatively, you can transfer CAD data directly into your CAD system via our Click2CAD Toolbox.

Technical University of Dresden uses PHOENIX Telescopic Lifting Columns

As part of a modernisation project, the Heinz-Schönfeld lecture hall of the Technical University of Dresden was equipped with a new blackboard adjustment system.

Instead of the cable winch system dating from the 1960s, a solution from Columbus McKinnon Engineered Products with PHOENIX telescopic lifting columns PH36 of the Pfaff-silberblau brand was implemented. With the new system, all five blackboard panels can now be automatically raised and lowered by 1,300 mm at a speed of 2 m/min at the push of a button. The system is very simple to operate. Each board in the lecture hall can be electrically moved individually via its own control element.

The Columbus McKinnon Engineered Products system operates silently, which is a great advantage during events and lectures. Thanks to their backlash-free sliding guides, they guarantee absolute stability even when fully extended.
