Select Magnetek® DSD® 412 Elevator Drives Now Obsolete

LIFE CYCLE STATUS UPDATE:

The DSD 412 DC Elevator Drives have been in Active Phase since the 1990s. Per our lifecycle management process, 15, 30, 300, 400, 600, and 800HP Magnetek DSD 412 Elevator Drives will move to the Obsolete Phase effective 4/2/26.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY IN OBSOLETE PHASE:

New modules will not be available in the Obsolete phase.

The Generation 1 software option is no longer available on any of the DSD 412 drives.

RECOMMENDED ACTIONS:

We recommend modernizing or replacing with a product  in the Active Lifecycle Phase. For 30HP models and below, use the DSD 412 60HP models. For 250HP models and above, Quattro DC Elevator Drives are available. We also recommend ordering the Generation 2 software option.
