Gearbox

Engineered and built exclusively for hoisting application with high center distance and higher clearance between motor and rope that boost the hoists performance. Enclosed gearbox with hardened and precision ground gears permanently immersed in synthetic oil for smooth and longer life. Cast iron housing permits higher service factor.

Motor and Inverter

The IEC frame motors offer easy installation, maintenance, and replacement. These heavy-duty, fan-cooled squirrel-cage motors feature PTC thermistor overheating protection with Class F insulation and an IP55 enclosure, ensuring reliable performance in demanding industrial environments. Both Hoisting and Cross travel with inverter control for smooth operation.

Break

The low-maintenance, fail-safe DC disc brake ensures reliable and secure operation. A standard hand-release lever allows safe load lowering in the event of a power failure, while the IP55 enclosure provides dependable protection.

Low Maintenance

High-quality components designed for minimal maintenance and repairs, including brakes, wire rope, and drive units. Control cabinet layout is optimized for easy serviceability and clearly labeled for ease of maintenance. Featured name-brand components for easy recognition. Commonly found wire rope construction is easy and economical to replace and does not require any special swaged fittings. Both Hoisting and Cross travel with inverter control for smooth operation.

Long Hoist Life

Constructed of durable components such as the hoist frame, wheels, rope drum, wire rope, gearbox and more, the SB hoist is designed for a long service life. The single‑grooved drum has a groove depth of 35% and a four falls single reeving configuration. This reduces the likelihood of rope overwrapping and helps reduce rope wear. CNC/VMC machined components such as the rope drum, wheels, pinions, pulleys and others ensure high quality and a smooth finish.

Safe Operation

Mechanical overload device prevents the hoist from lifting over the rated capacity. Enclosed rope guide ring ensures the rope remains fully seated in the drum groove, preventing rope overlap. Geared limit switch limits top and bottom hook position to prevent the load from hitting the hoist and ensures the minimum number of wire rope safety wraps remain on the drum. Limit switch is directly coupled to the drum for accurate positioning. And designed to meet BIS safety standards

Design & Dimensions

This hoist is available in both monorail and crab configurations, with capacities
of 3.2, 5 and 10 tons and a lifting height of 7 and 12 meters. Ideal for use in any
application, this hoist is also suitable for areas with space constraints. Featuring
a compact, low-headroom design, this hoist has a low-headroom monorail trolley
that can be easily adjusted for different beam sizes. The very compact crab trolley
design is suitable for achieving maximum lifting height in limited space.
