End truck frames feature a steel channel box section weldment for a strong, rigid construction.

End truck plates serve as rail sweeps for bridge protection and anti-drop stops, as required by CMAA specifications.

Standard truck wheelbase is 4’6” or 6’0”, suitable for spans of 36 ft. or 48 ft. respectively, meeting the CMAA span-to-wheelbase ratio limit of 8 to 1.

Wheels are 8” diameter and made of high-strength, ductile iron with a hardness of 187- 255 BHN.

Wheels have a cylindrical tread designed to fit 20# to 45# ASCE rails.

Width between wheel flanges is 2-3/4”.

Wheel bearings are lifetime-lubricated, precision ball bearings, providing a minimum of 5000 hours performance in accordance with CMAA specifications.

Maximum allowable wheel load is 6500 pounds (per pair).

Gearbox is ventless, lifetime oil lubricated
