2026 Program
Join CMCO as we look to raise $100,000 for Gold Star families in 2026!
Last year, CMCO, along with our channel partners, industry partners, and friends and family, surpassed our goal of $75,000 and raised a total of $82,000, enough to cover the cost of three full scholarships.
Our 2026 campaign marks the seventh year, and our goal is bigger than ever. From September 1 to November 11, 2026, CMCO will donate $500 for every Harrington®, Yale®, Crosby®, Gunnebo Industries®, Magnetek®, Dorner®, montrac® and Duff-Norton® training event we host in the US. You can also help by donating in your company's name to Tunnel to Towers.
$82,000 raised in 2025, $350,000 raised over the past seven years for children of fallen patriots
Since 2019, we have been honored to have raised $350,000 for Tunnel to Towers, enough to cover 14 full scholarships. With your help, we can continue to provide educational support for children around the country whose parents have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Tunnel to Towers (previously Fallen Patriots) provides college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty. Approximately 25,000 children have lost an active-duty parent in the military over the last 35 years. Of those, 96% of casualties are men, leaving behind single mothers to care for their families, and 60% report having trouble making ends meet.
The foundation reports $625 million is needed nationwide to cover the gap between government assistance and the actual cost of a degree. Since 2002, Tunnel to Towers has provided more than $66 million in total assistance to more than 3,400 military children, with more than 1,500 graduates.

Our Inspiration
Tunnel to Towers' Mae and George Siller Scholarship Program provides full scholarships for undergraduate degree programs and accredited trade or certification programs for the children of families served by the Foundation's Gold Star Family Home Program, Fallen First Responder Home Program, and Smart Home Program. This program builds on the legacy of Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, which provided college and trade school scholarships, educational counseling, and career support to military children who lost a parent in the line of duty. For students already enrolled in, or who have completed, a qualifying program, the Foundation reimburses eligible out of pocket educational expenses and helps pay eligible student loans. The children in the Tunnel to Towers family have already given more than any young person should have to give. This program exists to make sure their futures are filled with opportunity, not defined by loss.
The program is named in honor of Mae and George Siller, the parents of FDNY Firefighter Stephen Siller and his six siblings, including Frank Siller, Chairman and CEO of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Stephen ran through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, and gave his life helping others. In honor of their parents and their brother's sacrifice, the Siller family established this scholarship to ensure every hero's child has the support to pursue their education and build a life of purpose.
